Bryan Schley 00:01:39
All right, everybody, welcome to another episode of Life, Liberty, Happiness. I'm your host, Bryan Schley. We are live in the Kountze Realty and Auction Group tower here in beautiful Bedford, Virginia, along with my co-host, Trent Warner.
Trent Warner 00:01:58
Howdy. Punch and buttons.
Bryan Schley 00:02:00
That sounds exciting.
Trent Warner 00:02:01
Yeah, because he just screeched like a cat.
Trent Warner 00:02:04
I couldn't get that out. Boy's kind of hurt.
Bryan Schley 00:02:07
Why are you losing your voice, Trent?
Trent Warner 00:02:09
Have you got too much.
Bryan Schley 00:02:10
Arguing this week?
Trent Warner 00:02:12
Yelling no at work. Had a great week. Great weekend.
Trent Warner 00:02:17
He is very jolly today.
Trent Warner 00:02:19
Jolly, jolly. I don't think you could ever put that word with me as an adjective.
Bryan Schley 00:02:25
Thank you to all of our sponsors, David Honaker, State Farm. Yeah, like a good neighbor. David is there.
Trent Warner 00:02:31
And we're not throwing him out just because we have a new title sponsor.
Bryan Schley 00:02:34
A title sponsor. Yeah. Of course, his, the Counts realty and auction group. You can check them out at their website at Count's c o n t s auction. Count's auction. Com. I always get something going on, so. And you get in. if you've never done an auction before. Hey. Remind me. Okay. When Kevin comes on today? Yeah. Get him to do a little.
Trent Warner 00:03:01
We tried to do that one once before, and he kind of. He, like, water off a duck's back. He let that go. I mean, he'll auction if we don't ask him to.
Bryan Schley 00:03:10
okay.
Trent Warner 00:03:10
Well, we should do is come up with a plan of how to get him to do it and let it be his idea.
Bryan Schley 00:03:13
Okay, but if you've never gone.
Bryan Schley 00:03:15
Yeah, if somebody's listening, you should do it. Just one. It's very entertaining. Two. And this is 1,000% correct. It is the truest form of market value. Correct. So you are going to pay what people are willing to pay.
Trent Warner 00:03:34
Yeah. And when it starts going up it gets exciting.
Bryan Schley 00:03:36
Very much so.
Trent Warner 00:03:37
I did that car show last year in Greensboro. In fact, I may be going again in February. Oh man. When that thing starts it's just like Mecum. The Greensboro Auto Show is just like Mecum and Barrett Jackson. Yeah, man, those things come out and it starts going up and they get to 900,000 and it just keeps rolling. It is.
Bryan Schley 00:03:56
I used to love watching my brother when he would do it and get like two women going at it. Like he would say good. He would. He would say you can't let her out. And just man they would get angry like before you know it they're paying 400 bucks for a $220 chair. You know.
Trent Warner 00:04:15
Yeah. Exciting.
Bryan Schley 00:04:19
So anyway.
Trent Warner 00:04:20
No offense. Emma.
Bryan Schley 00:04:22
Go to, Count's auction. Com to check out all of their auctions coming up.
Trent Warner 00:04:27
Yeah, and I got, as part I have at it now as part of the sponsorship. I'll be talking about one of the auctions I got coming up. Cool. Sweet. Later in the show. The best part? We got 32,000 views from it, I think keeps rolling up.
Bryan Schley 00:04:43
Right? Currently we are at 98 subscribers.
Trent Warner 00:04:47
That is unbelievable.
Bryan Schley 00:04:50
So we went to Marty from 100.
Trent Warner 00:04:53
Marti got that thing knocked out for us.
Bryan Schley 00:04:57
Don't forget, the hundredth person gets to design their own t shirt and we will have it here in the studio. How about that? Yeah.
Trent Warner 00:05:04
I hope I can design one.
Bryan Schley 00:05:07
We'll be the 99.
Trent Warner 00:05:08
Well, I'm waiting for 99, and then I'm going to subscribe. You.
Trent Warner 00:05:13
Me. I've been holding out.
Trent Warner 00:05:15
I want to do the last post.
Bryan Schley 00:05:18
Well, in order to subscribe, you got to go to Al Underscore podcast on YouTube. Yeah. And you can listen. If you're not a YouTuber and you want to go to TikTok, you can check us out on TikTok. Trent Warner 00:05:36
I don't even check that platform.
Trent Warner 00:05:41
Yeah.
Trent Warner 00:05:45
We follow one person and I think it's a trend.
Bryan Schley 00:05:48
That's wonderful.
Trent Warner 00:05:50
It is trend. Trent.
Bryan Schley 00:05:51
That's great. So. Yeah. Moving on. Moving on to backwards and forwards.
Bryan Schley 00:06:01
this past weekend. Yeah. Volleyball weekend.
Trent Warner 00:06:03
Exciting.
Bryan Schley 00:06:04
Kind of kicked off our true, travel season.
Trent Warner 00:06:07
Much better than the weekend before.
Bryan Schley 00:06:09
Yes. I wasn't there the weekend before.
Trent Warner 00:06:12
Exactly. That's the difference.
Bryan Schley 00:06:13
Oh, that's the first thing one of the parents said. Yeah.
Bryan Schley 00:06:16
he said they wanted to get out and give the girls five last week, and I said, no way. You give them five when they win? Yeah. And he said, now that you're back. I said, we'll see. And sure enough, we went three and zero on Saturday and then lost. on Sunday we ended up four and one for the tournament. So pretty good weekend.
Trent Warner 00:06:37
It's always fun.
Bryan Schley 00:06:38
Yeah. And this weekend, we'll be at Myrtle Beach for a volleyball tournament.
Trent Warner 00:06:42
Yeah. Where are y'all staying? Do you know?
Bryan Schley 00:06:43
it's one of those stupid stadium plays. One of the worst things ever. I never understood them.
Trent Warner 00:06:50
I mean, I liked them.
Bryan Schley 00:06:51
Well, if your hotel is nice. Yeah, the hotel's crappy. Then you're stuck.
Trent Warner 00:06:56
I think we did that. Tennessee wilderness. You know, the one in, Sevierville? Yeah, that's where we stayed. And. Shoot, it was awesome.
Bryan Schley 00:07:03
Yeah. This is Myrtle Beach, and we'll see.
Trent Warner 00:07:06
Did we do that in baseball?
Bryan Schley 00:07:07
Yeah.
Bryan Schley 00:07:07
And it was not nice, remember?
Trent Warner 00:07:09
You don't remember? You don't even remember getting in the pool.
Bryan Schley 00:07:13
We won't bring that up.
Trent Warner 00:07:14
Emma, we jumped in in the middle of the night, and the next morning, his clothes are wet and he doesn't know how they got wet. That was back in the good old days, man.
Bryan Schley 00:07:22
Yeah.
Bryan Schley 00:07:26
anyway, we'll be at Myrtle Beach this weekend. I have, I have I've got a game plan now.
Trent Warner 00:07:33
Yeah.
Bryan Schley 00:07:36
how do I say this without being rude? I love watching my daughter play volleyball. Yes, but that's not the only thing you do on a volleyball weekend because you're there all day. Yeah. So there's other teams playing. Unlike baseball when we went you know I was a baseball fan. So you didn't mind watching other teams. But it seemed like we did other stuff. With volleyball. You're pretty much in that arena.
Trent Warner 00:08:05
Well your daughters are then scoring when they're not playing. So you're kind of tied to the. Yes to the location.
Bryan Schley 00:08:11
Yeah. So I have purchased me myself a Bose headset headphones. I am going to put them over my ears and I'm going to cancel out all the noise. Enjoy watching volleyball.
Trent Warner 00:08:29
So it's not your parents you're trying to exclude. It's listening to other teams.
Bryan Schley 00:08:35
Everything. Yes, all the above you. We were at a baseball clinic type thing in Northern Virginia, And it was terrific. Pinkman baseball academy. Oh, yeah. And they gave homework in. One of the homework assignments was if you could make changes to the current sports, whatever. You know, I think you actually did this homework. You had mentioned you had gone to watch your daughter play indoor soccer.
Trent Warner 00:09:06
Yes.
Bryan Schley 00:09:06
And they couldn't hear the parents.
Trent Warner 00:09:09
They never.
Bryan Schley 00:09:10
And so the guy actually said, man, that's one of the best things I've ever heard of in my life. Like, that is a terrific change that could that would change all rec sports. Yeah. I, I'm curious to see just how different the game is this weekend when I don't have to listen to nobody.
Trent Warner 00:09:26
So just to expand on that, what people don't really grab is an indoor soccer. They have the glass walls. Yeah. So the kids can't hear you because they're on the other side of the glass wall. They're playing and they're just playing the game. The coach is able to coach because he's inside the glass arena. Yeah. And the parents realized no one can hear me, so they stayed quiet. It's the most enjoyable sport ever. It was great.
Bryan Schley 00:09:52
So I'm gonna have some of that this weekend. Yeah, I'm just gonna sit back and enjoy.
Trent Warner 00:09:56
Yeah, it is hard. I don't know what it is about parents, but it's hard to enjoy and not listen. I'm guilty. When I first started coming up and I was young, I was dumb and all that stuff. But as you get seasoned, yes. And you start realizing it honestly doesn't matter. Like, I went to all that travel stuff with Perry and and Riley, I can maybe count on one hand games that I remember right.
Trent Warner 00:10:20
But I do remember the places we went to eat. Yes, movies. We went to go see. Yeah. Cities that I had never been in. Bridges that I had crossed.
Bryan Schley 00:10:28
Wrong color uniforms.
Trent Warner 00:10:30
Wrong color uniforms. All the things that just were kind of funny. Yeah, I remember that. But I could not tell you if a kid made it into second base or not. That's true. If it's if it's safe or out, who gives a damn if you're not going to remember that? Yeah.
Bryan Schley 00:10:42
So I said that, this past weekend, I was like, look, you know, we enjoy watching her play at school, and there is a trophy that you're running after. Yeah, this. And I had a conversation with, the my barber this week, actually yesterday. he was a all star player in Virginia, played in Virginia all star, and he played in college. He was part of that group at Liberty, the ones that won multiple state championships.
Trent Warner 00:11:15
Oh, okay.
Bryan Schley 00:11:16
Yeah. So I asked him because he played travel ball. Now, of course, when he played travel ball, it was pretty much the best players in this area. Yeah. Playing? No. Oh, yeah.
Trent Warner 00:11:27
Everything was like American Legion. It was the best of the best. Correct.
Bryan Schley 00:11:29
Yeah. And so I asked him what he thought of travel and, sort of the response that I expected. But the one thing that I think people forget more than anything. And it's what I've noticed about travel. It's the desire to win. Seems to be losing because you're starting all over zero zero the next weekend. Nobody cares. Yeah. You just, you know, even if you get a trophy for winning the tournament, it goes on a the winning is devalued and losing seems to be okay.
Trent Warner 00:12:05
Part of that reasoning is you are traveling and you really don't even know who you're playing against. Correct. Remember rec ball when you played rec ball? When we were our age? They were. We were playing.
Trent Warner 00:12:14
We were playing against our friends. So we knew everybody from school. So you wanted to beat their asses bad? Correct. And then the other thing is when you took a loss it was devastating. Now you just go in the silver bracket. Correct. You know what I mean. Yeah. The next day you're in the copper bracket.
Bryan Schley 00:12:29
It's just it's just you're numb to it.
Trent Warner 00:12:32
It is. But you know as well as I do, it is such a great opportunity for your kids to play. Yeah. To be out there when a lot of kids aren't doing that at all. They're in their. Their rooms playing video games.
Bryan Schley 00:12:45
It's like going to college and playing for what they call intramural sports.
Trent Warner 00:12:50
Yeah. Yeah. No that is important. My son, he played my daughter. She played my oldest daughter. And then Riley I'm hoping we'll find a volleyball. You know, she's just a freshman at UVA. I'm hoping once she gets into the framework of being acclimated, that she'll find some kind of intramural volleyball.
Trent Warner 00:13:10
Yeah.
Bryan Schley 00:13:11
All right. Yep. What do you got going on this weekend?
Trent Warner 00:13:15
well, last weekend was the condo.
Bryan Schley 00:13:17
Oh, yeah.
Trent Warner 00:13:18
And then I'm really excited because. And we had such a good time. It was, four of us went down. The Frenchies couldn't make it. So the Rupert's went down with Marty and I, and we just had a blast. It was a lot of fun. It was. Yeah, it was relaxing, but it was also just because this time of year, even though this, you know, I went a month before with Warren. This week was actually even more closed up. The second week of January. It was even more closed up than in December, but we still found things that we could go to and just had a blast. And then I'm hoping so soon. You know, in two weeks I'm headed to Daytona Beach.
Bryan Schley 00:13:56
Oh yeah.
Trent Warner 00:13:57
And then for the NASCAR event. Yeah, well, my kids backed out. Perry and Audrey couldn't go.
Trent Warner 00:14:03
And so Warren has picked up the. Oh, and so he's going to go down with me, the tour. And I was thinking, man, I have never done the Florida Keys. They don't. Have you ever done it? Yeah. Isn't that like a long ass bridge that goes over the Gulf? Dude, I want to do that.
Bryan Schley 00:14:18
Oh, that'd be awesome.
Trent Warner 00:14:19
Yeah I've never done that. I got that southernmost.
Bryan Schley 00:14:20
Point that's nowhere near Daytona.
Trent Warner 00:14:22
You can't drive down there to it.
Bryan Schley 00:14:24
Oh you can. But that's I mean that's a long line.
Trent Warner 00:14:26
Yeah. But I'm there from like Wednesday. I don't do this Saturday. I don't do that thing till Saturday.
Bryan Schley 00:14:30
That's fine. Yeah. If you're down there Wednesday. I would say that's probably a six hour drive.
Trent Warner 00:14:35
Yeah. From Daytona that might be pushing it.
Bryan Schley 00:14:38
Oh, maybe.
Trent Warner 00:14:41
Maybe I'll Google it before.
Bryan Schley 00:14:43
Okay.
Trent Warner 00:14:44
Seven and a half. Just from Daytona to the Florida Keys.
Bryan Schley 00:14:54
Yeah, it's a pretty good hike.
Trent Warner 00:14:56
And then you got to come back. So, I don't know. I just had it. I just had that thought I might do.
Bryan Schley 00:15:02
Oh, no. The whole reasons to go.
Trent Warner 00:15:04
No, I know.
Bryan Schley 00:15:08
Are you driving or flying?
Trent Warner 00:15:09
Well, I'm flying down to Daytona and then. And renting a car.
Bryan Schley 00:15:15
Yeah.
Trent Warner 00:15:16
I'll give it a thought after I land and see.
Bryan Schley 00:15:29
Gotcha.
Trent Warner 00:15:30
Well, come up with something cool.
Bryan Schley 00:15:32
Yeah, well, happy birthday, Marty, if I don't see you. And yes, I said BRF.
Trent Warner 00:15:37
Yes she.
Bryan Schley 00:15:38
Did. Move it on this day in history.
Bryan Schley 00:16:57
It is. I found this one to be very interesting to me. Trent. Okay. This day in history, on 17, 1784, the Treaty of Paris was signed by our Continental Congress, which officially gave the 13 colonies their freedom for Britain from the British. it wasn't until 1788 that the Constitution was signed. Okay. So we always assumed 1776. Right? Yeah. So what was the event in 1776?
Trent Warner 00:17:36
Declaration of independence. Was it that kind of started the whole.
Bryan Schley 00:17:40
Okay. Yeah, yeah, I get what you're saying. So that's. Yeah, the start of wanting to be independent.
Bryan Schley 00:17:45
Correct. Yeah I gotcha. Yeah. So anyway, I found it interesting that it took four years. Which I always try to go back and think, because that's the part that I don't think people think about is we were like, you know, all the stuff that's going on with Russia, right? You've got when we grew up, you had the USSR. Yeah. And then it split up and then you've got a leader in. Now that's kind of trying to put the USSR back together. Well I mean I thought about that the other night, I'm like all right. We were 13 colonies but we were part of Britain. We broke away from that and I had to fight for the 13 colonies you know. And so we became the United States. We kind of, you know, so I mean, it's interesting to me that these countries like Ukraine and whatever, they were a part of something at one point in time, just like we were. So you know there's we should be thankful.
Trent Warner 00:18:46
I guess they're fighting for their freedom in Ukraine. Sure. Yeah.
Bryan Schley 00:18:49
From Russia. Yeah. But okay. Yeah. But I mean, what about the parts of Ukraine that may not want to be part of Ukraine?
Trent Warner 00:18:59
Yeah, the eastern part voted to be to secede and be part of Russia.
Bryan Schley 00:19:03
Right.
Trent Warner 00:19:04
Yeah.
Bryan Schley 00:19:05
I mean, so there's so many, so much of that stuff that I don't know. Yeah, that I don't know that I care.
Trent Warner 00:19:12
So on this day, I think I forgot to write down the damn day. The year he was born. Hold on. So the reason I did it is just because I typed in quickly what happened on this day?
Bryan Schley 00:19:26
Oh, Carl's 86.
Trent Warner 00:19:27
Carl Weathers was born in 1948. And the reason I thought it was interesting is because of your, Mount Rushmore today. Okay. Mount Rushmore of actors. Did Carl Weathers make your Mount Rushmore of actors?
Bryan Schley 00:19:43
No, he did not.
Trent Warner 00:19:44
What was your favorite movie that he was in?
Bryan Schley 00:19:46
I don't know any movies.
Bryan Schley 00:19:48
The Carl Weathers was in.
Trent Warner 00:19:49
What am I saying his name wrong. Carl Weathers.
Bryan Schley 00:19:52
Who is he?
Trent Warner 00:19:55
You're the most un-American guy I know. You don't know Apollo Creed.
Bryan Schley 00:20:00
Honestly, I'm getting ready to get in trouble here. Wow. I thought Carl Carl Weathers was like Marty's dad.
Trent Warner 00:20:08
Or that word.
Bryan Schley 00:20:11
What is her last name?
Trent Warner 00:20:12
Her last name is Weathers.
Bryan Schley 00:20:14
I thought maybe that was her dad.
Trent Warner 00:20:15
That's Carl weathers.
Bryan Schley 00:20:16
Oh.
Trent Warner 00:20:17
Apollo creed.
Bryan Schley 00:20:18
That could be her dad.
Trent Warner 00:20:19
That's not even close.
Bryan Schley 00:20:21
That's her dad's.
Trent Warner 00:20:22
Name. Don.
Bryan Schley 00:20:25
Don's.
Trent Warner 00:20:25
Oh, no.
Trent Warner 00:20:27
Yeah. Carl Weathers, Apollo Creed. He was also in, predator.
Bryan Schley 00:20:31
Oh. He's dead.
Trent Warner 00:20:32
Yeah, he's passed away. And that's what I was going to ask. Do you. That was going to ask, is he dead or alive? But Emma. Oh. Jumped in real.
Bryan Schley 00:20:39
Way to go, Emma.
Bryan Schley 00:20:46
I didn't know, I didn't even know who I was.
Trent Warner 00:20:49
You didn't know if Apollo Creed was still alive? The guy that. The black guy that was destroyed.
Bryan Schley 00:20:54
See, I, I would have known him from Happy Gilmore.
Trent Warner 00:20:57
Yeah, I know, that's how I was about that guy.
Trent Warner 00:20:59
And he just died two years ago.
Bryan Schley 00:21:01
Oh.
Trent Warner 00:21:02
Yeah.
Bryan Schley 00:21:03
That sucks.
Trent Warner 00:21:05
Well. Moving on.
Bryan Schley 00:21:07
Dun dun dun. On to drama. All right.
Trent Warner 00:21:16
Oh, God. How long can this damn show keep lasting?
Bryan Schley 00:21:19
Dude, it is 20 episodes each season, and there's ten seasons.
Trent Warner 00:21:24
That's when TV was TV when they used to make episodes.
Bryan Schley 00:21:28
Yeah.
Trent Warner 00:21:28
So you got 200 episodes to watch?
Bryan Schley 00:21:31
Yeah. I'm only on season three.
Trent Warner 00:21:34
I'd give up. That would throw me in like as soon as I saw there's that many, I couldn't do it.
Bryan Schley 00:21:39
Okay. I know you know this. So I'm going to say it because I know you, you, you have the same angst on certain series that I do. Dude, I can't stand when the writers have nothing to write about.
Bryan Schley 00:21:54
So they they do an episode. To me, that's just a throwaway.
Trent Warner 00:21:58
Oh, yeah, that happens all the time.
Bryan Schley 00:21:59
God, I hate that.
Trent Warner 00:22:00
It's like there was nothing. We couldn't come up with anything, so. And then, like, sometimes they would do the medley. Do you remember those, those days when they would show clips of this?
Bryan Schley 00:22:10
Yeah, that's kind of what this was. There was a whole episode of that crap, but also, and I'm not I hope I'm not spoiling this for anybody because it's it's an older show.
Trent Warner 00:22:20
Dude, the show was out in the.
Bryan Schley 00:22:23
Starting in 2013. Yeah, just, went out in 2023, but, now one of the main characters got killed off. and I'm like, I.
Trent Warner 00:22:34
Can't contract dispute.
Bryan Schley 00:22:36
I can't watch it anymore. Yeah. We're only on season three. Yeah. So I'm like, no, of course, in the back of my mind. All right. Trivia question. Emma I'm gonna ask Emma first, then you, Carl Weathers.
Bryan Schley 00:22:50
Emma. If a main character gets killed off.
Bryan Schley 00:22:55
Do you immediately Google to see if they're really dead, to see if they come back? Or do you just keep watching the show to see if they come back?
Trent Warner 00:23:09
Sometimes I do that. Is he not on the show because he died for real?
Bryan Schley 00:23:21
Oh, so you want to see it play out?
Trent Warner 00:23:23
Oh, yeah. I don't want to know anything early.
Bryan Schley 00:23:29
I gotta admit, I was so pissed that I googled it, and then I was relieved because I think she comes back.
Trent Warner 00:23:36
Oh, okay. So. But the, I do that with you.
Trent Warner 00:23:41
I did that with you last night when I'm watching a basketball game last night. Tennessee was playing Texas A&M. Yes. And I looked and I know and I was just trying to see where it went to double overtime. But I wanted to see who replaced buzz. Yeah. That's, Williams. Williamson.
Bryan Schley 00:23:58
Yeah.
Trent Warner 00:23:59
Because he left Texas A&M to go to Maryland. And we said that's a step down. Well who would they ever replace Buzz Williamson with. And it was this young kid. To me he looked like a young kid very very young looking man. And I thought so I always Google their name so I can check Wikipedia.
Bryan Schley 00:24:16
I'm doing it.
Trent Warner 00:24:17
Now. And what I have found was all coaches have about while I wait for you to finish. Oh. Go ahead. Oh, yeah. So I have all I all coaches usually take about 20 years to make their spot. Most of them have I'm not exaggerating. Most of them have like 15 colleges they went to to land the job. Yes.
Trent Warner 00:24:38
And it's from 20 to 25 years of experience. Yep. Hands down. But this kid is a kid. Yeah. And I looked there, and he only had two head coaching jobs before Texas A&M. The first one is a high school. Yep. He coached 12 years as a varsity coach in high school. So I thought, well, he must have won a lot of championships in Texas. He did win seven championships, but they were in Alabama high school. Oh, wow. It's an Alabama high school. That's how he got to Stanford. I think Stanford's a high school or a college in Alabama, But if you look at his Sanford record, it's really not that strong. I mean, it's okay, but it's not like he went to the sweet 16. Yeah. He's. own one in the tournament.
Bryan Schley 00:25:21
That's crazy.
Trent Warner 00:25:21
So how does that kid land in? my mom, of course. The basketball fanatic that she is.
Bryan Schley 00:25:29
I know their guy.
Trent Warner 00:25:30
I told her the story I just told you, and she goes, oh, that's what the reference was last night, that you can tell that he's a high school basketball coach when you watch his offensive and defensive schemes, she said.
Trent Warner 00:25:40
One of the announcers said that last night.
Bryan Schley 00:25:44
That's unbelievable dude.
Trent Warner 00:25:45
Yeah. Really cool.
Bryan Schley 00:25:47
What makes a lot of sense? He went to Birmingham.
Trent Warner 00:25:50
Well, yeah. What was, what's his name? Bucky or Sky or Bucky McMillan. Bucky? Yeah.
Bryan Schley 00:25:56
That's incredible.
Trent Warner 00:25:57
So I was just piggybacking on what you said about googling things. When I'm watching stuff, I'm always trying to find out who's that guy.
Bryan Schley 00:26:04
It is like I mentioned this, we're talking about the barber earlier. I said, listen, and this is true.
Trent Warner 00:26:12
The barber or Black.
Bryan Schley 00:26:13
List, the guy who cut my.
Trent Warner 00:26:16
I thought you were talking about your drama.
Bryan Schley 00:26:17
Honestly, I'm not saying that being a professional coach, you know that you can't. I'm. I guess what I'm saying is it's not as much difference as people think it is. Because really you're just regurgitating information that you're learning from other coaches. Yeah. I mean that, that is pretty much unless you're an architect of something like some of those guys are.
Bryan Schley 00:26:41
Yeah. But I mean Nick Saban is not architect of anything other than picking great coaches. Yeah. And they they're just everything you've learned in basketball. If you went to clinics at college you're going to learn it. Like it's shocking how the verbiage is the same in pros.
Trent Warner 00:26:58
I mean like, oh, shoot. The, the old guy that went back to the Colts.
Bryan Schley 00:27:06
Yeah.
Trent Warner 00:27:07
And he stepped right in. Got hired Thursday and was playing Sunday. Correct. Yeah.
Bryan Schley 00:27:11
By the way, I ran into something the other day about him. Shocked me. This quarterback coach at NC state.
Trent Warner 00:27:20
Thank you told me this.
Bryan Schley 00:27:21
Kirksey.
Trent Warner 00:27:23
Oh no kidding. Interesting.
Bryan Schley 00:27:25
Isn't that.
Trent Warner 00:27:26
Crazy? Yeah.
Bryan Schley 00:27:28
Anyway. Yeah. Interesting stuff. All right. It's what we do on the show. Interesting stuff.
Trent Warner 00:27:32
What is listener recommendation? His and hers. What's that mean?
Bryan Schley 00:27:36
that was a listener. Recommended that we own Netflix. Watch his and hers.
Trent Warner 00:27:42
Mom, why do they call it Scottish cheese?
Bryan Schley 00:27:44
It's cottage cheese, honey.
