Crustless Ham Quiche

Ingredients:
8 large eggs
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 teaspoon freshly minced garlic
3/4 cup whole milk
1/2 cup yellow onion, chopped and sautéed in a little oil
1 tablespoon plain flour
Salt, to taste
1 1/2 cups diced cooked ham (perfect for holiday leftovers)
1/2 cup grated grilled cheese
1/2 cup grated sharp cheddar cheese
Fresh chives, for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, black pepper, garlic, milk, flour, and salt.

  3. Fold in the sautéed onions and diced ham.

  4. Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish.

  5. Sprinkle both the grilled cheese and sharp cheddar evenly over the top.

  6. Add a handful of fresh chives.

  7. Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until the center is set and the top turns lightly golden.

  8. Allow it to cool slightly before slicing.

Serve with a fresh salad for a simple brunch, breakfast, or lunch.
