Olive oil
Leftover ham (diced)
12 ounces bow tie pasta
3 cups chicken broth
1 cup frozen or fresh peas
½ cup cream
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions:
Sauté the Ham:
In a large pot, heat a drizzle of olive oil over medium heat.
Add the diced ham and cook until lightly browned and heated through.
Cook the Pasta:
While the ham is cooking, prepare the bow tie pasta according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside if needed.
Combine Ingredients:
Once the ham is nicely browned, add the cooked pasta and 3 cups of chicken broth into the pot with the ham.
Remove the pot from the heat.
Add Peas and Cream:
Stir in 1 cup of peas (either frozen or fresh) along with ½ cup of cream.
Sprinkle in ½ cup of grated Parmesan cheese and mix well.
Warm and Serve:
Gently warm the pasta mixture, tossing everything together until it’s evenly coated and heated through.
Serve immediately and enjoy!
Notes:
This hearty dish is both comforting and refreshing, thanks to the sweet pop of peas.
It’s also delicious served cold as a pasta salad—perfect for leftovers!
