Ingredients:
1 pound medium shrimp, peeled and deveined
1/2 tablespoon olive oil
Juice of 1 lemon
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
Salt and pepper, to taste
2 tablespoons butter
1 lemon, sliced
Fresh chopped parsley, for garnish
Instructions:
In a medium bowl, combine the shrimp, olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, paprika, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper. Toss until the shrimp are well coated.
Let the shrimp marinate for about 10 minutes.
In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
Keep the lemon slices nearby so they’re ready to use.
Add the marinated shrimp and all of the marinade to the skillet, then add the lemon slices.
Cook the shrimp for 2–3 minutes per side, or until they’re just cooked through and opaque.
Sprinkle with freshly chopped parsley.
Serve as an appetizer or main dish—about 1/2 pound per person makes a satisfying dinner portion.
