Fresh thyme, for garnish
Fresh rosemary, for garnish
Crostini crackers or fresh crudités, for serving

Instructions:

1. Preheat the Oven
Set your oven to 350°F.

2. Mix the Cheeses
In a bowl, combine the goat cheese and cream cheese. Stir until smooth and well blended.

3. Assemble the Appetizer

5. Drizzle Balsamic
Lightly drizzle balsamic vinegar over the fig jam.

6. Bake
Bake in the preheated oven for about 15 minutes, or until the jam is hot and bubbly.

7. Toast the Nuts
While the dish is baking, toast the chopped pecans (or walnuts) in a dry skillet over medium heat until fragrant and lightly golden.

8. Garnish
Once out of the oven, top the warm cheese and jam with fresh thyme, rosemary, and the toasted nuts.

9. Serve
Let it cool slightly, then serve warm with crostini or a variety of crisp veggies like celery sticks and baby carrots
